What should I expect?
Expect a quiet and serene environment. If you wish, bring some water with you. I work to discover the reason of your discomfort by simply connecting with your energy to receive answers from your body’s wisdom.
Sometimes, I place my hand over my client’s ear ear, or I close my eyes for a couple of seconds, or I feel inside my body what my client feels. I see colors, shadows and scarring from past traumas. Sometimes a movie starts in my mind’s eyes and explains the reason for the present situation. The body lets me know what needs to be addressed. I stay neutral and follow instructions from my client’s body’s wisdom. I share what I see or feel and only after verbal authorization, I proceed on clearing energy.
I also use imagery, toning, Bach Flower Essences, Thoughtfield, Reconnective Healing and Neuro-sequencing. If appropriate, I may suggest cleaning up your diet.
How might I prepare for a session?
- Write your questions down and have them near you.
- Before your appointment, take time to take a few deep breaths or go on a walk and notice nature or meditate. Do whatever you are used to calm your mind and to open your heart.
- If your consultation is over the phone or on WhatsApp, seclude yourself from your family and have little children taken care of by an older sibling or a friend.
- Turn off any distracting phones, alarms, timers, or other sound making devices that might distract you.
Can I learn? Do you teach?
I always teach. During session, I pass on to my client anything that is pertinent and for which we have time. My goal is to empower. Stay informed with classes and upcoming workshops. Join our e-mail list. If you want to set up a private class for you and your friends, contact me.
How long my appointment will be? How often should I come?
A first appointment runs usually from an hour to an hour and half. The follow ups are shorter. Deep seated issues or repeated traumas may require a longer-term commitment. When some clients come once every few months, others do come every week as new layers may surface. Everyone is different.
What do I do between appointments?
Rest is the best. Depending on each situation, I may suggest taking some Bach Flower Essences to release a little more. I may give homework that will help stay focus and grounded.
How different is your counseling from a psychologist’s?
I am a minister, not a psychologist. Gifted at birth, I honor the gifts I was entrusted with by being at service. I do not label or diagnose to place anyone in a category. The work I offer comes from the heart, it is experiential and transformational. I do not offer verbal therapy. I work quickly by finding the underlying causes of discomfort. Then we release in a safe space and quiet environment. My goal is to assist in achieving a deeper balance and a dynamic personality, I help resolve conflicts and together with my client, and develop life paths that work.
What about confidentiality?
What happens during sessions is confidential. I do not share information with anyone about situations or people whose name came up during sessions.
