Hello Dear One,
How is life in mid-December? Hanukkah, the Solstice and Christmas are upon us. In the midst of everything that asks for your attention—work, family, decisions, responsibilities, emotions, and the Holiday Season—it can be easy to forget that there is a part of you that already knows.
A voice that doesn’t rush, doesn’t pressure, and doesn’t judge. A calm and steady presence.
Today, I’d like to offer you a gentle pause. Not to fix anything. Just to listen.
A Creative Exercise: A Letter From the Part of You That Knows
Take 5 quiet minutes, if you can, or come back to this newsletter this evening.
• Sit comfortably and take one slow breath.
• Place one hand on your heart or your belly.
• Let your shoulders soften.
Now, take a pen or open a blank page and begin this sentence:
“Dear Me, here’s what I want you to remember right now…”
Let the words come without editing or correcting. This isn’t about writing well—it’s about listening honestly.
Stop when you feel complete.
Reflection
When you’re done, gently ask yourself:
• What surprised me in what I wrote?
• How does my body feel after hearing these words?
Even a few sentences can be enough to shift something inside.
If you feel called to deepen this relationship with yourself—to learn how to access this inner voice more often and trust it more fully—I’d be honored to support you.
With warmth and Holiday Cheer,
Dr. Sylvaine Francine
