Hello Dear Soul,
We have entered the Holiday Season and as the days rush by and life keeps asking more of us, (there is much to do, right?) I’m reminded of how easy it is to drift away from ourselves.
From our truth.
From what really matters.
We all carry a set of values — not the ones we learned from others, not the ones we think we “should” have — but the ones that live deep in our chest, quietly, patiently, waiting for us to listen. My values are Connection, Health, Authenticity and Courage. Values are important because when we live in alignment with them, we feel purposeful and fulfilled. What are your values?
Values are not ideals. They are not obligations. They are the heartbeat of who we are.
When you feel stretched thin, disconnected, or unsure of your next step, returning to your values is like placing your hand on your heart: grounding, soothing, clarifying. Our values are our inner compass.
A Moment for You — A Guided Exercise
- What moments in my life made me feel most alive, most “me”?
Write down the memories that come up, without judgment. - What qualities were present in those moments?
Maybe courage, love, honesty, creativity, tenderness, curiosity… - Which of those qualities do I long to embody more often today?
Circle the ones that feel warm, exciting, or emotional to you. - What is one small action I can take this week to honor that value?
A gesture, a boundary, a conversation, a pause, a choice.
Let this be an intimate conversation with yourself — one that brings you insight, softness, and direction. Write down ten values, then circle the three or four most important.
A Gentle Invitation
If something inside you feels ready for deeper clarity, support, or transformation, I’m here.
With love, always.
